Aaron Hall has come under scrutiny for lyrics in his 1992 song Don't Be Afraid.
The singer, 59, has been accused, along with rapper Diddy, of raping a woman back in the early 90s.
Diddy was sued in New York County Supreme Court by an anonymous woman who claim he and Aaron took turns raping her and a friend back in 1990 or 1991, Rolling Stone reported on Friday.
The anonymous woman, referred to as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, also claims that Diddy later visited her after the alleged rape and choked her over fears that her friend might tell his then-girlfriend about the sexual assault.
