Exec recently served as senior VP for Crave

Roberta “Ro” Gorski, who was pursuing a career as independent producer, died March 13 in Los Angeles of complications following a brain aneurysm. She was 40.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6657 W. Sunset Blvd., Hollywood. 

Gorski most recently served as a producer and sr. VP of Production for Crave Films, where she was also an associate producer on David Ayer’s 2005 directorial debut, “Harsh Times.” She also served as director David Goyer’s assistant on the television series “Threshold.”

A Chicago native, Gorski graduated from DePaul University before heading west to pursue work in the entertainment industry. She began her career at Disney as a creative project administrator before moving to Warner Bros. Entertainment where she worked as a contracts administrator for Warner Bros. International Television Distribution and then as assistant to executives and producers including Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Jerry Bruckheimer.
